My name is Nicole and I am the Founder of Pixie Soaps & Suds! We are a cold process soap company offering natural luxurious handmade soaps, whipped body butters, body scrubs, lotions, bath salts, all natural bug spray, gift sets,clay face mask, sachet diffuser's and custom gift sets.
In 2016 I was struggling with skin issues and decided to transition to all natural products. Our skin is the body's largest organ and is susceptible to toxins in the environment and in typical skincare products. Our skin absorbs these toxins, which may cause health issues over time.
By using natural products, we provide clean nourishment for our skin.
My soaping journey began when I purchased my first handmade soap product from a local farmers market. I was instantly hooked. I studied and researched ingredients to develop the optimal handcrafted, healthy blend that would nourish and cleanse the skin, restoring it to its natural health.
In 2019 Pixie Soaps & Suds was officially launched. Our products are handcrafted in small batches with love and care in our Centereach studio. Our soaps are crafted using the cold process method vs. the hot-process, requiring 4 – 6 weeks to cure. Hot-process soap is focused on immediate results. Instead of placing the soap in a mold to cure, the liquid is placed in a heat source until cured. Cold-process soap has the advantage of a gradual, more natural chemical reaction, resulting in a more nourishing, skin-compatible soap.
At Pixie Soaps & Suds, we eliminate unhealthy soap ingredients including parabens, phthalates and all harmful petroleum-based chemicals typically found in soap products. We use all natural colorants, vegan-safe colorants, clean essential and fragrance oils, organic oils, and organic butters.
